Ardin S. Berger

Ardin S. Berger, D.O. (They/Them)

Interventional Pain Physician

Dr. Berger opted for a holistic, patient-focused approach and completed their medical training at the founding osteopathic medical school, A.T. Still University in Kirksville, MO. They then completed a residency in anesthesiology and two subsequent fellowships: the first pediatric anesthesiology and the second in pediatric & adult pain management. They carry triple board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology in adult & pediatric anesthesiology as well as pain management. Their near-decade spent providing anesthesiology services has served to inform their pharmaceutical knowledge base, procedural technique, and understanding of both the physiological and personal impact of pain. Their own experience with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS)--and the multi-system effects that come with this condition--furthered their understanding of not only the pain and difficulty associated with this condition, but also the level of undue difficulty experienced when attempting to obtain adequate support and relief from painful, "invisible" conditions. After spending 5 years treating pediatric and young adult pain at Stanford, they left academia in pursuit of an environment where they could offer patients with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, fibromyalgia, and other chronic, often-overlooked conditions with the support that they deserve.

Dulce Galaviz, M.A. (She/Her)

Medical Assistant & Office Manager

Having been an athlete since childhood, Dulce has always had a fascination with the way in which the human body works, and found herself intrigued by the science behind it. Accordingly, she decided at a young age that she wanted to work in the medical field. She received her Associate's degree from Kansas Wesleyan while performing as a college softball player, and subsequently obtained her medical assistant license in order to pursue her passion for healthcare. Dulce has been working in the medical field for over five years, and finds each year to be additionally rewarding. Patients consistently recognize Dulce for her kind, yet proactive support, noting that her passion for improving their level of comfort is tangible. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, which she has found enables her to provide optimal care to patients from various backgrounds. She takes pride in providing consistently exceptional patient care to all of her patients.

When not supporting her patients at Comfort Clinic, Dulce enjoys spending her free time hiking, fishing, and painting alongside her family.
